Becoming the Chief of Army Staff in Pakistan is like winning a lottery worth billions of rupees. That is why every army chief, after retirement, takes billions of rupees and moves abroad. The army owns more than 83 factories, something no other military in the world possesses. The army is involved in smuggling petrol from Iran and heroin from Afghanistan. They have a network to distribute this heroin worldwide through PIA (Pakistan International Airlines), which has also contributed to the airline’s global reputation being tarnished. Apart from this, Pakistan’s military has business connections with all the major drug mafias around the world.
The military creates and trains religious extremist and terrorist groups, later using these groups as Mujahideen, Jihadis, or Taliban for foreign powers’ interests in exchange for dollars. Every conscious person and the whole world knows that in Pakistan, the army controls the constitution, judiciary, media, business, foreign affairs, parliament, and the Senate through the terror and fear of their boots. From CPEC to every commercial matter, the military is involved in massive corruption, which is widely known globally.
In the name of Pakistan, the military has kept oppressed nations enslaved in the country through psychological and religious tactics, military coercion, and the dominance of Punjabi numerical superiority, to protect Punjabi colonial interests and perpetuate this unnatural state as mercenaries for global powers. and this unnatural state provides a justification for maintaining such a large military force.
In Pakistan, whether it’s the military establishment, political elites, religious groups, or ethnic nationalist circles, they are all on the same page in the agenda of keeping historical nations enslaved in this unnatural state. That is why parties like the PPP, PTI, PML-N, Jamaat-e-Islami, JUI, or even the ethnic MQM-P never support the freedom of historical nations from Pakistan’s occupation, oppression, exploitation, and slavery. All of these parties are supporters of Punjabi colonialism and chauvinism.
The real political crisis and issue in Pakistan is the forced annexation and enslavement of historical nations by the state of Pakistan. No one ever speaks about this issue. Therefore, the military establishment and political elites keep engaging in periodic power struggles to distract the people of Punjab and the world from the national liberation movements and political struggles of historical nations.
Currently, there are national struggles for the freedom of Balochistan and Sindhudesh, and the Pashtun nation is also fighting for its national rights. In such times, the media is exaggerating political noise surrounding Imran Khan, the military, the judiciary, the IMF, religious parties’ shows, and the statements of the PPP and ruling PML-N regarding constitutional amendments and judicial appointments. The purpose of all this is to sideline the national liberation struggles and political issues of the nations.
It is like a madman who closes his eyes and thinks that the sun has not risen. Until the intellectuals, journalists, and political activists of Punjab honestly acknowledge that the experiment of the so-called two-nation theory failed even before the brutal massacre of three million Bengalis, the nations must be freed from Pakistan’s captivity. The Punjabi colonial military can no longer enslave these historical nations under the guise of Pakistan by force and military dominance.
Even genocide cannot permanently enslave these nations, so it is better to grant them freedom. The freedom of the historical nations is also tied to the freedom of the Punjabi people themselves. Therefore, Punjabi intellectuals should raise their voices in support of the national liberation movements of these historical nations.
We believe the historical truth is that the real crisis of this state is not economic but political, which is linked to the national liberation of the historical nations. The solution lies in ending the unnatural state of Pakistan and granting freedom to the nations, which will bring peace, progress, and stability to the region. Enslaving nations is the greatest form of indecency and immorality, and Punjab must free itself from this indecency and immorality by supporting the national freedom of the historical nations of Sindhudesh and Balochistan.
