The conspiracy theory regarding new provinces is, in reality, a blatant admission of state failure by the Punjabi political elite and military establishment. The thinker of Sindh, Sain G. M. Syed, had already asserted that this state is unnatural and will not be able to survive for long. This state, built on the fake foundations of a ‘Muslim Nation’, completely failed politically, morally, and practically on the day when hundreds of thousands of Bengalis were martyred, and innocent Bengali daughters were dishonored—a campaign of atrocities that continues to this day against oppressed nations at the hands of the brutal army of Punjabi imperialism.
Today, Punjab and its military are openly reflecting this reality of state failure through the gimmick of new provinces. All oppressed nations, including the Sindhi nation, understand that this unnatural state named Pakistan, based on forced annexation, was devoid of political and moral legitimacy from its very first day. Punjab, by the sheer force of its military majority, imposed its imperialist hegemony over other nations, making them victims of colonial occupation, enforcing political oppression upon them, and economically exploiting their national resources.
The truth is that Pakistan was never a necessity for any nation except Punjab, which utilized this state as a tool for its political, military, and economic dominance. Since Punjab was a landlocked nation without access to the sea, its surplus population aimed to occupy the resources, minerals, rivers, and sea of other nations—an occupation, political oppression, and economic plunder that now stand fully exposed before all nations. At present, Punjabi imperialism, by breaking national entities, is orchestrating conspiracies to launch this final attack on the existence of these nations, pushing them into the quagmire of slavery and annihilating their national presence. Today, when the custodians of the state themselves are confessing to state failure under the guise of the new provinces’ conspiracy, a historical duty and national responsibility rest upon the oppressed nations, particularly the Sindhi nation, to launch a joint national struggle, entering a new phase for their national existence, territorial integrity, and historical national restoration.
Addressing international powers, the Sindhi nation must organize public demonstrations in every district, taluka, and city for the national restoration of the Sindhudesh motherland from the colonial occupation and national slavery of Punjabi imperialism. An appeal should be made to the United Nations, and the demand for a national referendum under international supervision for the independence of Sindhudesh must now become the demand of every conscious and conscientious Sindhi. This is the historic moment when the Sindhi nation must unequivocally declare: national slavery unacceptable, colonial occupation unacceptable, and Sindh wants freedom.
Since the demand for a referendum for the independence and national restoration of Sindhudesh before the United Nations and the international community is a legitimate demand of the Sindhi nation based on international principles and the exercise of the right to self-determination, the Sindhi nation needs to stand firm and clear on its core historical national objective. This will allow us to align the entire world with the cause of the independence of the Sindhudesh motherland; without this, the protection of national existence, territorial integrity, and national security will not be possible. Failing to speak of national independence at this juncture and continuing to accept living in this unnatural state is equivalent to putting our national future at risk and “inviting Jahan Khan to dishonor one’s own mother.”
Therefore, political factions, national activists, intellectuals, writers, journalists, lawyers, teachers, students, and people from every walk of life in Sindh must unite under the platform of the “Sindhudesh National Restoration Council” to demand a referendum under international supervision for the independence of Sindhudesh before the United Nations and the international community.
Remember that the threat to the existence, national identity, and territorial integrity of Sindh and the Sindhi nation emanates solely from the unnatural state of Pakistan, and from nothing else.
For this reason, like the conscious nations of the world, the Sindhi nation needs to take to the roads and streets across Sindh to safeguard its national existence, territorial integrity, national dignity, freedom, and security. Even more importantly, instead of falling into any new trap or political deception again and remaining imprisoned in the Pakistani state built on forced annexation, a decision must be made to walk the correct, historical, and national path of national independence. This is the only path that can guarantee the national existence, territorial integrity, national dignity of Sindh, and the future of the coming generations. If, despite all these calamities and conspiracies, the Sindhi nation does not demolish this wall of deceit (Pakistan) and place the demand for a referendum for the independence of Sindhudesh before the United Nations and the international community to save its motherland and national existence, then remember, a few politically immature novices (politicians) will act as attorneys for the state to keep the Sindhi nation imprisoned in Pakistan, making a living by misleading Sindh. Therefore, the Sindhi nation must now be vigilant, demanding nothing short of freedom from this slavery, oppression, and imprisonment.
