AN APPEAL TO THE UNITED NATIONS AND THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY FOR IMMEDIATE INTERVENTION AGAINST AIR STRIKES AND GENOCIDE CONDUCTED BY THE STATE AGAINST THE BALOCH NATION

Reports regarding the Pakistani military’s aerial bombardment using jet fighters on Baloch settlements, villages, and towns in Surab and other areas of Balochistan—resulting in the martyrdom and killing of Baloch women, children, the elderly, and ordinary civilians—are extremely alarming and condemnable. The Sindhi nation shall under no circumstances remain neutral, silent, or passive in the face of state-sponsored brutality, savagery, bloodshed, and aerial strikes targetting innocent villages and residential areas.

We not only condemn this state savagery, violence, and the genocide of Baloch people in the strongest possible terms, but we also explicitly warn the state to immediately halt this game of blood against innocent Baloch civilians, women, children, and elders. Bombing Baloch settlements, villages, and homes with fighter jets and inflicting collective punishment on ordinary people is not only a severe violation of international human rights principles, but it is also a state conspiracy and atrocious assault against the very national existence of the Baloch nation.

We inform the United Nations, the international community, international human rights organizations, and the global media to immediately take notice of the reports emerging from Balochistan regarding jet bombardments, civilian casualties, and the targeting of populated areas. An independent international investigation must be conducted regarding these acts of military aggression where state forces target ordinary citizens in Baloch villages and homes. Those responsible must be brought to accountability, the immediate safety of the civilian population must be ensured, and the Pakistani military—whose forces are committing grave war crimes by bombing unarmed villagers, women, children, and the elderly with fighter jets—must be dragged to the dock of the International Court of Justice.

On one hand, the Pakistani state is plotting against Sindh’s national identity and territorial integrity, utilizing social media platforms to conduct psychological warfare against the Sindhi nation to divide Sindh; on the other hand, it is utilizing military force to execute the mass killing and genocide of the Baloch nation. We believe that bringing historic nations under political, psychological, and military pressure, and turning Sindh and Balochistan into colonies within the unnatural state of Pakistan to intensify conspiracies against their national existence and motherland identity, is a miscalculation. The state falsely assumes that by keeping civilian populations under fear and terror, it can divert them from their national liberation struggle and final destination. The unnatural state of Pakistan has now reached its logical point of disintegration, and Punjabi fascism and tyranny can no longer prevent these nations from attaining their freedom.

We consider the Punjabi state-sponsored brutality, aerial bombardment, violence, and the continuous bloodshed of the Baloch people taking place over Baloch settlements as Yazid-style Fascism. Using military power in the intoxication of arrogance against women, children, the elderly, and ordinary citizens is not bravery; rather, such a degraded act is a severe violation of humanity, political morality, the laws of war, and fundamental human rights.

Sindhis and Baloch are historically, geographically, and spiritually interconnected. The national affairs of both nations are deeply rooted in the historic Indus Civilization, which is why their historical ties run deep, and the questions of their national existence, land, resources, dignity, and rights are mutually intertwined. Therefore, it is impossible for us to watch silently as a passive spectator while the blood of Baloch women, children, elders, and ordinary citizens continues to be spilled.

We once again strictly warn the state: the bombardment of Baloch settlements via jet fighters, the deployment of military force against villages and towns, and the genocide and mass killing of the Baloch nation must be brought to an immediate halt. The response to the political and national question of Balochistan does not lie in bombardments, guns, enforced disappearances, terror, and collective punishment; rather, it lies in respecting the human, political, and national rights of the Baloch nation and recognizing their right to national independence.

We demand from the international community that it must not restrict itself to mere formal statements. Instead, it must take effective measures for the protection of ordinary citizens in Balochistan, conduct an independent international inquiry into military air strikes and civilian casualties, and take concrete steps in accordance with international human rights standards to hold those responsible accountable.

Under these circumstances, issuing the national stance of the Sindhi people on behalf of the Sindhi national movement—Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM)—it is hereby made clear that Sindh will not remain silent regarding the state-sponsored genocide, massacres, military operations, and bombardments against the Baloch nation. The Sindhi nation will not remain neutral. If state tyranny against ordinary Baloch people, women, children, and the elderly continues, the Sindhi nation will not only stand with the Baloch nation on political, diplomatic, human rights, and global public opinion fronts, but will also stand beside them in practical resistance.

  • Stop state brutality against the Baloch nation!
  • Halt the aerial bombardments on Baloch settlements immediately!
  • Stop the bloodshed of Baloch women, children, elders, and ordinary citizens!
  • Conduct an independent international investigation into the events taking place in Balochistan!
  • The Sindhi nation will neither remain neutral nor silent against any state atrocity and barbarism committed against the Baloch nation!
