President Trump Is Creating a New Osama bin Laden in the Form of Asim Munir ، A Future Threat to Regional and Global Security

Due to the shortsightedness of U.S. President Donald Trump, a new Osama bin Laden is being cultivated in the form of Pakistan’s radical-minded Army Chief, General Asim Munir. This development poses a serious threat to the entire region, as it may lead to a dangerous surge in Islamic extremism and terrorism. Such a trajectory will ignite the flames of militancy and radicalism across South Asia, causing immense suffering to ordinary people, destabilising regional peace, undermining democratic institutions, and disturbing the strategic balance of the region.
Within an artificially constructed state like Pakistan, historical nations such as the Sindhis, Baloch, Pashtuns, Saraikis, and Brahuis are subjected to systemic oppression, exploitation, humiliation, and denial of basic freedoms under the guise of religion. Human rights violations, the suppression of religious minorities, and the curtailment of freedom of expression are becoming widespread. These actions, if left unchallenged, will turn the entire region into a hellscape of conflict and instability.
Therefore, the U.S. President and administration must act with wisdom and foresight by ceasing their support for a terrorist state like Pakistan and its extremist and fanatical military leadership. Favouring Pakistan and its radicalised Army Chief over democratic nations and historical peoples of the region is tantamount to endorsing terrorism and religious extremism. Such a policy would not only be deeply regrettable but would also obstruct peace, stability, democracy, and economic progress in South Asia.
We, the historically enslaved and subjugated nations within the artificial construct known as Pakistan, have repeatedly appealed to the international community and the United Nations to recognise the grave injustices perpetrated against us. Pakistan is not a natural state، it was founded on religious deception, manipulation, and ideological fraud. Through these means, historical nations such as the Sindhis, Baloch, Pashtuns, Saraikis, and others have been forcibly deprived of their sovereignty, identity, and rights.
The Punjabi establishment, under military control, continues to exploit the natural and mineral resources of these oppressed nations while subjecting them to systemic political repression. Fundamental human rights are consistently violated by the Pakistani state. Religious extremism and terrorism are not only tolerated but actively sponsored and propagated under state patronage across the region, posing a significant threat to regional and global peace.
Secular and democratic political organisations face bans and repression. Freedom of expression is stifled; the judiciary and media operate under the shadow of military dominance. The so-called “two-nation religious theory,” which fuels Islamic radicalism and terrorism, is being reinforced by the state as a psychological and ideological foundation. In Sindh, instead of promoting modern education and progressive secular thought, a vast network of madrassas has been established to brainwash innocent children into extremism and intolerance.
Millions of acres of fertile agricultural land in Sindh have been forcibly occupied and militarised by the Punjabi army. In every sector، politics, diplomacy, commerce, judiciary, and media، the military holds an unchallenged monopoly and dominance. Activists from secular and democratic parties who dare to speak of national liberation are subjected to enforced disappearances, extrajudicial detention, inhumane torture, and, in many cases, their mutilated bodies are later dumped in desolate places. These atrocities have become routine in Pakistan.
Despite this, the United States, in an alarming and deeply misguided policy decision, is choosing to empower Pakistan’s radical, jihadist-minded military leadership. President Donald Trump’s dangerous elevation of General Asim Munir، who represents the ideological continuation of extremist terrorism akin to Osama bin Laden، constitutes a direct threat to global peace and security. By embracing such a figure, the United States risks nurturing yet another monster of terrorism, one that could bring catastrophic consequences not just to South Asia, but to the entire world.
It is, therefore, an urgent necessity for the international community, democratic governments, and human rights institutions to re-evaluate their support for Pakistan’s military establishment and to stand with the oppressed nations struggling for freedom, democracy, and human dignity within its borders.
We are deeply astonished and concerned when we observe that the President of the United States, instead of prioritizing India، the world’s largest democracy and a key pillar of regional and global stability، is choosing to politically favor an artificial, fascist state like Pakistan, which has a long-standing record of sponsoring religious extremism, terrorism, and ideological intolerance in South Asia.
It is profoundly troubling that, while rewarding Pakistan, the U.S. administration under President Donald Trump is simultaneously pursuing punitive economic measures such as tariffs and penalties against India. These actions not only seek to weaken India economically but also signal a disturbing geopolitical shift that undermines democratic values and regional peace.
We believe that instead of empowering a reckless and terror-exporting state like Pakistan, the United States should be imposing full-scale sanctions on Pakistan, placing its irresponsible nuclear arsenal under international supervision, and ensuring accountability for its support of terrorism and its brutal suppression of historical nations within its borders. The U.S. should be standing firmly against Pakistan’s ongoing state-sponsored terrorism and its systemic oppression of the Sindhi, Baloch, Pashtun, and other indigenous nations.
Regrettably, the opposite is taking place. The President of the United States appears to be extending unjustified political preference to Pakistan over India—a policy choice that is not only disappointing but also extremely dangerous for the security and peace of South Asia and the broader international community.
We further interpret the imposition of tariffs and economic restrictions on India as part of a broader attempt by the United States to reduce India to the status of a modern economic colony, while simultaneously nurturing Pakistan as a proxy state that continues to pose a global security threat.
We urge the American people, intellectuals, and policymakers to reflect seriously on the long-term consequences of such misguided alliances. By empowering General Asim Munir، who ideologically represents a new incarnation of Osama bin Laden، the United States risks creating yet another extremist threat that will ultimately endanger not only South Asia but the entire world, including America itself.
Therefore, we strongly call upon the U.S. government to immediately halt its support of Pakistan and its radical military leadership. If this policy continues, and future destruction and destabilisation unfold across the region, the responsibility will lie squarely with the United States, its foreign policies, and President Trump himself.
